Icom are currently the only manufacturer of D-Star radios. Kenwood re-badge the Icom ID-800 model as Kenwood D-Star radios. Yeasu is rumoured to be working on a D-Star option for the radios but its status is unknown.

The IC-E2820 is the successor to the popular IC-2725E and inherits popular features from its predecessor including; VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF simultaneous receive capability, wideband receive, independent tuning knobs and a separate controller. Uses the UT-123 D-Star digital interface board.

Icom ID-1 - Digital Mobile Transceiver
The ID-1 can operate in both Digital Voice and Digital Data Mode as well as conventionally with current analogue 1.2GHz repeaters. The ID-1 has an operating frequency range of 1240-1300 MHz, with FM and GMSK (Digital) modulation formats providing clear voice and high-speed data transmission (128kbps). Uses the UT-???
